I will be bringing my Shafty Clod, 2.2 scaler Bronco, and hopefully a 2.2 full competition rig. I say hopefully because I actually have no parts for it yet.

I just got my scedual figured out.....Well ........Sorta! I am just going in for a meeting with the surgeon on the 23 and not surgery. So I have to get busy and get the RBX rebuilt for the meet. I think I will make it to the first comp of 2006.

Since it is a new location for most and nobody else has requested a spot, lets kick it off at Indian Rock. It looks like a great place from the pictures.

Jason - since you are way out in the boonies, meet me at my house and we canl carpool us up there to save you $$$. Same goes for anyone else who wants to pool it up there.

Please post up any necessary detailed directions that can't be seen from the google map. I can then modify the original posting to give those instructions.

It's not hard at all to get to or find the spot from those directions. You just need to be on Indian Rock Ave after you go through "The Circle" (a traffic circle) after you pass the circle there is a sign (kinda small) that says Idian Rock with an arrow pointing up the road to the left. It's about 500 ft. from that point on the left. You can't miss the huge rock (with people climbing all over it) and a great view of the bay.....should have taken pics of what it looks like when you approach it. The best part is we don't have to stay in one spot, across the street there is more rocks. Which is not as populated with people. We can have one course on the main rock, then go down around the base of the rock, then across the street. It's a sweet spot.

(hope my Rebel 2 comes back from repair in time )

Cool. Can any of you local guys that know Indian Rock, meet me there early? Say 8AM? I want to look around before we start tech at 9:00 and set up the courses.

Hello everybody!! Looks like I might be able to make it to this comp. My only question is, is this the right spot? http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=37.892,-122.273

It looks kinda small when you switch to the satellite view and zoom in alot.

That is it, The south side of the big rock is whare I think the comp should be. It is about 35 foot clime to the top then there is a lot of fun lines all over the place.

I had the same reaction as well. I would hate to live in that house just down the hill from the rock if that park gets a lot of visitors. Although, it sure is kick *** for testing out crawlers. You can't beat that by much other than living in the Sierra's.
