thanks again for having us guys! sorry we couldn't provide enough competition to make it seem like there where really two new drivers there.... i'm gonna 4-link my front, widen my axles and work a LOT more steering into the front, and dial in my COG a little further and we'll see where that gets me on the next one. i almost didn't bother running the 3rd course because it looked way worse than it was but that's where my rig actually came alive! i was 10 seconds from making it through gate 7(?), the tree, with 1 point left from pointing out and made it through the gate clean after time. then i ran through gate 8 super clean, touched 9..., and of course rolled 10 easy. if i hadn't done as many spin-flips through the 6th(?) i'd have stood a chance of actually clearing a d@%$ course! anyway, keep us informed on the next comp and we'll show again in a little racier trim.. everybody was super nice about basically baby-sitting us all day, we'll come to the next one readier to hold our own. mike's got a pair of berg axles and a chassis on hand already and i'll be working on my pro rig soon. i'm about neck deep in an x-ray TC build right now but i'm just dumb/fiscally irresponsible enough to tackle both projects within the same few month period so we'll see what happens...

Thanks again to everyone that made it to the comp and helped to make it as enjoyable as it was. I'm glad Dustin and Mike didn't run away after seeing some of the courses being ran though!

The party afterwards was great...gotta say thanks to the people behind the scenes on this one though...the wives/girlfriends It'd be nice if we had a location or two where we could make a weekend of it in order to be able to spend time together after the comps and such

I'm working on details for the next comp...but look for it to be scheduled towards the end of January. Don't forget...there is an ETRC comp scheduled for January 12 in TN at the Ocoee Whitewater Center!

Just as an FYI. The place numbers in the score spreadsheet in the 2.2S section are kinda screwy. I know it don't matter since I got beat by the newbie BDB anyway. Way to go Bruce. Nice driving and as Derrick said, awesome rig.

I don't completely understand the scoring yet, but if the numbers are what they are i was quite surprised. I can't take all the credit since it was my first comp i had great deal of , lets say greatly appreciated coaching during my runs.

hey guys, i swear i'll get something up in terms of video at some point but this holiday season mess has got me hemmed up right now! the wife's got me leaving town friday, i've been trying to get a home addition in the dry before i leave for almost a week, and i'm drawing my first whole-home design in the evenings which i'm supposed to start building some time in january so i'm losing it!!!! but, i'm stacking away much-needed $ for the pro class rig i'm gonna start soon so i reckon all is well.. at the very least i'll clip some stills out of the footage asap.
