Off Camber Krawlers 2013/2014 indoor winter series

Hello to all fellow rock crawlers.
There is a new rc rock crawling club in CT
We run 2.2 pro and (SLO) shafty limited only class.
This will be the first year for Off Camber Krawlers and we look forward to having a great crawling season.

Off Camber Krawlers will be having there first winter series comp at RC Madness 101 north st in Enfield CT .

We will be running 2.2 pro and shafty (shaft driven rock crawlers) classes.

We will be having comps on Sundays one or two times a month.

Dates are as follows.

12/8/2013
1/19/2014
2/2/2014
2/23/2014
3/2/2014

3/23/2014
will be the final comp for the winter series.
Then we will be going outside for spring;).

There will be gift certificates and trophy plaques for the top three drivers in each class.

There is a $10.00 charge per class for each comp.

It should be a real good time indoors on the rocks.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a comp for 2.2 pro and shafty .
This would be on Nov 10th in Stafford CT.
Kinda a club kick off comp.
Post up if interested so we can get a head count and make this happen ..sorry for the short notice.

December 8th will be here before we know it...Get your crawlers ready for some indoor winter series rock crawling fun..the compititon is going to be tight with some skilled veteran drivers in 2.2 pro ..and shafty..This year is going to be a good one I think..

The rocks are all moved around so there are new lines everywhere they will be moved threw out the crawling season to keep everyone on there a game :-)

We hope to see you there..don't forget to bring your scalers .Scale club runs every Sunday.

This is open to all skill levels of driving.

If we get enough people that are new we will run a novice shafty class and a pro shafty class to keep things fair for everyone.��

R/C Madness has 3 night crawlers that you can rent for this Sundays OCK winter series.
Just in case you do not have a rock crawler and you would like to try it out ..or if your friend would like to try it out before having to purchase one.this way you can see what it is all about.

January 19th is going to be here before we know it. save the date ..Off Camber Krawlers Winter series 2nd event is going to be a blast..we have people coming from Road Island,Boston Mass,and Ct we are open to all levels of driving from beginner to pro.we will be running shafty (shaft driven rock crawlers )and moa (motor over axle) classes .it is $ 10.00 dollars per class.. Start time is 10:00 am..We hope to see everyone there..

I would to thank everyone for coming out to our 3rd event for the winter series.
It was a great day of crawling indoors with everyone. ..the gates were tuff even for the vetrans..I liked that we chopped the time down to 5 minutes for 7 gates..it made you think is that bonus worth it! .
I will make sure to get Stan on here and put the points up from the the last two events.
I think the next comp we will get to large pizzas instead of two party pizzas..I think that should be just about right.
I hope we get to see some more new faces and some more old faces at the next comp on the 23 rd of Feb.

This Sunday is round number 4 for the winter series.. The Club is thinking about adding one more event in mid april so we can throw away one round for points..just in case you could not make all of the events...The schedule is tight for dates being so close to the summer series .. So we will have to look into if we have the time to add an event .we look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday and we can all talk more about it then . .

We had a great turn out with some skillful drivers at the wheel.

It was nice some old faces and some new ones .
The club hopes everyone had a good time today and had enough to eat / drink.

Here are the points with two drops ..we are still talking about rather we should do two drops or one drop since we only ran 6 comps.please let us know what you guys would like to happen

The Club looks forward to seeing everyone this Sunday March 23rd .
We will be awarding the winter series champs for 2.2 and shafty classes.
This will be ending our winter series and OCK is looking forward to our upcoming Summer series , Keep an eye out for upcoming Post's on locations.
It has been a great first winter series for the club.
We would like to thank Chris Marcy for letting us have our winter series at R/C Madness.
OCK would like to Thank everyone who attended and hopes everyone had a great time and enjoyed the constantly changing rock courses.
