Would love to see some Crawler action!
We will offer live scoring through the weekend, but unfortunately at this point we don't have the equipment for any live video.

Ok thanks,

I sure will follow the scoring.
Hopefully I can be there next year at the Eurocrawl, so then I have no need for livestream :-)

Have fun at the EuroCrawl!

Hi,

Before butchering the body of my rig, in 2.2 Shafty, you use the old rules (2015) or the news (2016) for the dimension of the body?
In the new rules (2016), the body spec are 8" overall length, 3" overall width, and 3" overall height.

As we are in 2015, we are using the 2015 rules. So old ones.

Finalists:
For 2.2's and 2.2 Pro there will be final course. 5-10 drivers will get to the finals depending if they have even mathematical change for 1st place. Finals will be driven after the six qualification courses.

Rules:
We will drive with 100% US rules in EuroCrawl 2015. You can find them here: RCCA - RCCA Rules at RCCrawler.com
Be sure to know it!

Judging:
Here is the important bit you need to read. This is the first time we are driving European Championships and we want to make this competition this year and years to follow our joint effort. That's why we have chosen the most efficient way of judging; group modus.

We will split the drivers in six groups and drive six courses simultaneosly. We will make the groups based on the level of the drivers. Each group should have one experienced driver, two or three semi experienced drivers and two new comers. Each group has group chief, who will be resposible of the group. Judging etc... We will try to put two drivers from one country to each group, so nobody is left "alone". We will be a lot wiser of this at the comp weekend, so don't panic.
Important stuff added! We will drive six courses in each class. And finals in 2.2 classes.

This is how the comp site is looking currently. Less than a month now.

Registration is closing tomorrow! Be quick or stay home!

Maybe I put it in wrong words. I meant we need two or three experienced drivers in one group. Just starting on working with the groups now.

Shirts are ready for printing. They came out pretty nicely IMO.

Front side.

Back with your nick and country flag on it!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...3SDSlI/pubhtml
Behind the link from upper tabs, you can see some info of the groups we will be driving with.

There is also overall class for those, who drive three or more classes.

And completely new stuff introduced. Country throphy will be given to the best country. How will it be counted? Every single driver and every class will be counted in your countrys total points. If 30 drivers starts at pro class, the winner will get 30 points. If you are 30th, you'll get 1 point and so on. We respect the countries who will bring the most drivers and in paper France looks quite good to catch the trophy. Anything can happen though!

Not too long anymore!

Ok, finally we are ready with the score sheet.

Here it is.

On the left side you mark driver number. We are not using names on these papers. Driver #number is enough.

Then you mark which class and which course the driver is running.

On the next box there are progressed gates. You can mark them along the way, when driver get's a new progress. On the yellow boxes below you add the sum of progress and bonus points.

Then there are penalties. +1, +5 and +10 boxes. On the white box you mark all the mistakes and on the lower yellow box you mark the sum of those.

Then there is the important bit. Points-box. On the upper (+) box you mark panalties total and lower (-) box you mark the progress sum. And calculate these two togerther on the total points box.

Very simple. Then add judge signature and driver signature.

Yes, 40 point maximum for course. And you can get in already on the first gate, so no 20p maximum per gate.
