Any idea of what classes you are looking to run or is any welcome?

For the other guys that responded what class do you guys typically run? I ask since I have saved up money but have not decided what my build will be.
Any truck is welcome, hope to see you there!

I guess 4x4 answered for me. Anyone is welcome, to be honest the actual course will be best suited for 2.2 rigs but, I have 5 acres with very varied terrain and river so just about any rigs would have plenty of room and fun. IF anyone has sugeestions of what they want to see on the course let me know, Ive gotten some volunteers asking to help construct but, insurance issues with people moving large rocks would be a nightmare (I know everyone here is good and noone would sue me if they got hurt but there is always one person who ruins it) Ive been considering adding some obsticle course's like you see on tough truck comps, maybe some log runs and balance beams, just to make it different.

I missed the question where I am, the "farm" as its known is located about 20 miles east of champaign. Pretty easy to find but right in the middle of the country so no one to call the cops when the bon-fire gets too large. when the course is ready Ill PM all interested parties with directions

Oops, didnt mean to speak for ya, I just meant that no particular truck would be excluded based on our club rules if we were able to hold a comp. Sounds like a great place to run though, Is the river spanable by a bridge, or is it too large? Always nice to have new terrain!

The river is about 40' wide at the narrowest, it divides my place in half, there is a bridge but its the road. I have plans of building one myself , have the I beams, but money and time have stopped me.

Decatur here to, just bought a lot in Long Creek. Anyway, I run a super and building a 2.2. Also a couple 1:1 jeeps too. I run with the MWRCA fellas, let me know if you want to tag along, or find some dirt pile around here to run on.

Well, I am actually in Mt. Zion so we are really close. I just say Decatur since more people know that name.

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on that soon. No way I will be ready for the Jan. 7th Comp I saw on their website but by Feb. I should be running.

I was hoping you guys would make it easier to choose between super or 2.2 but it looks like I am just going to end up doing both in the end. I went ahead and ordered parts from thecrawlerstore to start my super build since I have the budget for it at the moment. I can't wait to get it built.

So it sounds like you are pretty close to Kickapoo State Park then unless I am mistaken? I look forward to when this is ready.

bring your own hotdogs! Im going down to work on the course this weekend so Ill try to get some pics of the area where Im building the course, dont get disapointed when you dont see many rocks yet, Ive only had about 2 hrs to work on it so far and Ive had to remove a rather large cotton wood tree to get to the spot for the course

There are a few people here in Central Indiana that would make it over to run a course. We regualrly run Comps and GTG's on a man made course just west of Indy. Keep us posted on your progress and the date you want to open it up.
