ok boys and girls!!!! first comp date is around the corner!! remember january 20th is the first comp at sandisland. i guess no one except DTP had something to say and after the 31st the dates will stay, no changes what so ever. the only thing i might do is split this season in half and make it 2. 5 comps each, both running for points. maybe make something special and combine the points for both series and make an overall winner for 2.2. what do you guys think? let me know. shoots, otherwise................see you on the 20th.

i'm mostly concerned about the comp dates. if we have it set then there will be no "i didn't know it was this weekend, or can we push it up because i have a luau i have to go to, etc". with the dates set we can plan around those dates. the rules pretty much stays the same as last season. pretty much following the 2.2 rules in the rules section. more than likely we will have membership sign up at the first comp on the 20th. the membership fee will be the same but this year we're planning on making club shirts (it will be included in the membership). trying to get the t-shirts as soon as can.

ok, that's it for the dates of the comps. the dates now stand final. i'm going to try and get a GTG before the 20th for disscusion of the rules and membership. if not it'll more than likely be at the first comp. again, membership dues are the same as always and i'm working on the t-shirts for the members. we will probably on that day figure out if you guys want to run 2 series (5 comps each) instead of 1 long one. shoots, pm me or post here if you have any questions or whatevers about the upcoming season. i'll see you guys on the 20th at sandisland.........9am sign-up............comp starts at 10am . bring your A-game!!!!

p.s.
if you know of anyone that wants to join the series or come out to crawl, bring them along with you. also, if you see any of the other members around, let them know that the series is starting on the 20th. thanks.

So the first dates listed are the dates we're going to use?

I vote that we change the gate penalty rule and adopt the one used at the nationals. The usrcca rules state that once a gate is touched and the penalty is assessed the gate is now considered dead. I feel it's too easy to point out with the current rules.
