Gotta ask what axial parts did you use to shorten the axles? I am considering picking one of these up and like the look yours has.. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I used 4 axial axle stubs to narrow the track.

You have to work a little on the dogbones to get them work together. Just grind down a little on the outside. But its no problem and a realy quick conversion.

My children have big fun with it, beating the hell out of this truck !!!

(Not me, thatīs the german 2,2" class champion inspecting the vehicle)

No pictures on stones, forgot that, sorry.

BTW: I think the less traction of the rockstompers compensate the clodstall very well Now the rear axle can spin free, where no traction is .
I think I leave them on the truck, it drives very well and ballanced, if you have just fun in mind an no competition !

Pete

NIce pictures. That sure is scale. Anyone that looks at these pics and say that the rig isn't "scale", should get their eyes and brains checked....NOW!

Although it does have a neat look to it and the body is getting pretty detailed, it still is not scale as admitted by the author.

When is the last time you saw a 1:1 rig (full sized rig that you get in and drive) that did not have drive shafts(MOA or Motor on Axle) and a TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) chassis?

Otherwise it looks like he found great use for a CC.

That's the problem with certain folks in here that makes up these rules. Take a second look at this rig. This rig is just more less "scale" because of its MOA setup and chassis, but it's still scale no matter how you want to spin it.

Scalers don't go driving around without using a body. If the OP showed up at a scale meet without removing the body everyone wouldn't even notice. Scalers are based on its proportions and stance. Remove the bodies from typical scaler and what do you have? Powered by an ESC, batteries, receiver, servo, etc...Since when did 1/1's were powered by those?

Some people think that their rigs are scale when it really isn't. How can the 2.2 forum even exist? Look at how many folks ruined their rigs by throwing on some 2.2's. Only a very few that can pull it off with 2.2's.

This rig looks awesome! I love the color matched wheels, reminds me of a military rig.
