I use Futaba 3003's. I've only had a couple fail, but they're cheap to replace. You comp guys would hate them though.

I run Hitec exclusively I always have problems with JR and TP servos breaking the case mainly. I have made mounts for them where I sandwich the servo to help but hell you put ears on the servos to mount them, why not make them work like they are supposed too?

Hi Tec 7955TG and 5245MG mini (dig) in my 2.2 and 5955TG's in my Super...CC BEC at 6 volts on each.

Both companies offer some impressive servos and have great warrenty coverage as well...2 years on Hi Tec and 3 years on JR.

I've never had an issue with any of them and they simply work...that's why I continue to run them.

I run 8711 in my berg, and a 9100T in my axial with no problems with either. I also have a 7955tg in my MRC and its working just fine as well.

I'm running Hobbico's C170's on both of 2.2's and on the super. I've never had a problem yet.

I have an 8711 on my comp truck. It's been in 3 times for service and last time I sent it in they said that this is the last time, don't send it in again. When it works, it's awesome, but it's starting to shutter again. I just bought one of the new Airtronics servos with 425 oz in for my 11 lb scaler, and it works great for now. I've had the best reliability with my Hitec 5955 and 7955, but they lack a little in power compared to the others.

2 but I was speaking in general. I have an 8611a that has seen a lot of use with no issues as well. I guess I have been lucky, but I have been running there servo's for over 10 years and have always been pleased with them.

My JR 8711 gets hot as hell and it binds at times i think it shouldn't,i have tried it with the Castle BEC and just thru the built in ESC @ 6volts,it still runs hot but no shutter yet after 2 years of abuse.
My buddy also runs the older version and it's now shuttering when it's not under load but it's getting worse every run but it has been used for years in his gas trucks so it's had a good life.
I have had nothing but bad luck with Hitec servos in any application.

how can they tell you that???
3 year warranty, doesnt that mean anything?????

maybe its a 3 time warranty....
its a good servo when they work , but doesnt take long for them not to work after they been in for repair...........

My DS8711 and my 9100T are both right at 2 years old and neither have given me any trouble.
