I may be wrong but I thought that if you used HRS mode.............you must use digital servo's.............Check with Harley on here he could probably confirm this.

Yes, your correct. I did some research. The first hobbico died with the radio set to pp mode. I unfortunatly switched it to the other thinking that was the correct setting.

there was a warning i didn't understand with my ex5 about approved servo's, now i know i burnt mine up to. will the futuba 3305 i had lying around and threw in last or will it burn also? seems fine so far.


creepycrawl do you run a servo saver or metal arm on the 5245mg? i would perfer the smaller size and weight to the 3305 if it will last.

got a futuba s9650 at lhs and a cc bec. figured a 85mg or a 225 would burn out and this was what they had for digital. should be fine and i like the size and weight better than the 3305. still unsure if i should get a saver for the HRD or just the metal arm i got now.
