Default Rear steering help

I have recently added a bec because my fxr was overheating with a 3s lipo. The problem is it takes up the 4th channel I want to use for rear steering. Is there any way around this other than not running a 3s? Thanks for help!

What RX are you using?

There should be a bat port on it for the bec to plug into. That should leave the 4th channel open.

This should give you some info also, Definitive wiring diagrams for BECs Rx Servos Motors etc.

Hey Jay,

You can also power the servos direct from the BEC, and power the RX from the FX-R as normal.

That would free up your Ch4 port.

Cheers,
Mike.

if you don't feel like messing with wiring, just get a servo y harness and plug the bec into one side and a servo into the other.

Hey Jay,

Here's a diagram from that thread above that shows how to wire up the BEC either as I have said, direct to the servos, or as Lushtrucker says using a Y-harness.

Definitive wiring diagrams for BECs Rx Servos Motors etc.

Cheers,
Mike.
