New charger doesent boot up ?

I got a charger from a hobby store , GT-x charger c6 ,nicd ,nimh,lipo ect

I plug it in and it just lights up , nothen else theres a bold line running through the lcd screen also , just seeing if any one has had problems .

What are you using for a power supply?

The hobby store won't take it back for an exchange/ or upgrade to a different charger? (maybe go back and see if they have anything ac/dc powered)

Yep, sounds like a warranty claim to me ... As long as your power source is putting out 12v that is.
Is the battery you hooked it to fully charged and in good condition?

Just going off the posted link being a battery powered charger.

Yeah , all new charger ,ac power supply, all new 1300 mah lipo 2s 30c , Check this out ,,, I read the directions ,,, got a 1300 nimh batt out to charge ,,,,
when i pluged the power suppy in ,,, the screen just lit up , and 2 lines on the lcd are dark ,,,, looks like it cant boot up .. idk
30 days warranty , and replacement is availabe .
as far as plugging any batt , i didnt plug the nimh in because the screen was frozen
and the ac power supply i got is for the gt x charger

so i think its just a defected one ,, this sucks

bump , talked to value today , there sending a new one ,, thay said im the first one who has had any problems ,,, yeah we will see lol

im thinking about just getting a 12v batt to charge off ,,, idk i think the ac power suppy might be the problem.
