Tekin rs or rs pro? Whats the difference

I want to get a brushless combo for my axial ax10 since my tekin fxr esc just went out on me and want to stay with tekin and I'm looking at the rs and rs pro but whats the difference? Also I'm looking into getting the 21.5t combo. Right now I have the 55t brushed motor from tekin

So what I read is just the motor limit is the main difference an I right. Since I'm going with the 21.5 the rs should be good for me

there are 2 differences the amp handling (motor limit) and size. the rs pro has higher in both. for crawlers/scalers the rs is more than enough

The tekin RS PRO has more fets inside of it, so it can handle more current

I'm running 3s lipo so should I go with the pro? The price isn't a factor for me I just want the best one for me

On an rs with a novak 17.5 and 3s I haven't had any issues

If you want to spend the extra $ then go for it.

Regardless if it is an RS or an RS Pro it has the same internal BEC and you will end up bypassing that with a CC BEC especially on 3S and a strong servo. Seriously you would be better off with the RS and CC BEC.

I wasnt gonna use a bec just cause the servos I have are only 6v hitecs, I have 4ws

Use a bec, your esc will thank you. On 2s its a marginal issue with one servo.

If one servo is over ~200inoz, you will likely want an external BEC, since you're running 2 servos for 4ws, it's almost mandatory to run an external BEC.
If you ran 2S LiPO, you could likely get away with wiring the power to the servos direct from the battery.

Just saying.

Sure they may be 6V but how much current do they pull?

It isn't about the volts but more important is the amp draw and the RS' internal BEC on 3S just doesn't cut it. (As the incoming volts go up the BEC's current output goes down.)
