Traxxas tqi not calibrating with my tekin fxr

Hi I have a traxxas tqi 2.4ghz remote, I got it to bind with the reciever but I can't get it to calibrate with the esc. I can use my link remote also from traxxas but I'd like to use my tqi. Anyone have any suggestions and yes all the throttle settings are zeroed out on the remote

have you tried changing it to a diferent mode.

I had trouble with it working on my mini 8ight untill I switched it to mode 4

Its worth a shot and simple to do.

OK, probably not an issue, but.....

In the transmitter,
-Throttle trim to "0"
-Throttle sub-trims to "0"
-Throttle EPA's to 100%.
You may need to mess with "neutral deadband".

If you "zeroed out" all throttle settings, you won't get anywhere.

What LED's show up on the FX-R?

Try doing reverse first, if your throttle channel is backwards it will never go.

If that doesnt help then plug a servo into the throttle channel and see what is going on.

So I got it working. I think theres a glitch within the tqi cause it calibrated and worked when I was in the throttle channel setup but it stops working when I go back to the home screen but at least it works and I just updated the link app so maybe that fixed the issue.
