Default GT3B Switch Mod

I have had this radio for months and months. Finally got to go crawling with it on the weekend. Really love the transmitter and the new firmware it runs. Thanks for the hack kit, losikid!

So, the other day I wanted to buy some more toggle switches and I happened to notice these so called "tactile switches" and thought about adding them near the steering wheel on the transmitter. This is how it turned out.

The two outer switches (black) are wired in parallel with the "CH3 TRIM" switch and the two inner switches (brown) are wired in parallel with the "D/R" switch.

Sometimes I find it awkward to hit the stock switches when I am doing a front or rear dig or adjusting the front/rear throttle bias. Maybe this isn't an improvement, but it wasn't too difficult to do, so I will give it a try.

These are the switches:

Got the exact same radio, can you tell me more about the hack? Is it custom firmware, and if so, which one is it?

Sure.
I refer to a Hack and a Mod in my post. The Hack is what I purchased from Losikid. It is replacement firmware that gives you more features and channels. You can read about the hack here:

The Mod is the switches I added. Did that answer what you wanted to know?

How'd you mount them? I've been wanting to offer something like this but i don't know of a solid way to mount them other that being aggressive with some sort of bonding agent (hot glue, epoxy, silicone, etc)

Then you might not like what I did. I used shoo goo. Not real sure the glue has a great grip on the switches, but not that it has had a couple of days to set, it seems firm. If my glue gun was handy when I did this, I would have used that instead.

Dang....Shoo Goo, Marine Goo, Plumbers Goo, etc. is all pretty much the same stuff.....it's an RTV with some solids in it.

I learned to use it to fix "kid toys" since nothing else seemed to adhere to "cheap plastic"......

The ONLY advantage to "hot glue" is not worrying about the glue solvents attacking the plastic involved.......

My guess it's a "translator error", not what he meant to post.

He was probably looking for "understand"....but the language translator inserted a different word.....

Sorry, that's litterally translated from Dutch ;)
I was asking if there's anyone else who likes to steer their crawler / scaler with a stick radio, in stead of a pistolgrip with a wheel.

I have the feeling it gives me a little more precise control
