Default broken reciever wire

I have an airtronics mx-3 FG. The antenna wire broke off of the reciever. Will things still work? or do i have to buy a new reciever. I'm posting this because the rig is all taken apart so i can't test it. I don't want to put it back together if i need a new reciever. Thanks for any help.

It should still work but the range will be shorter (not usually an issue with crawlers).

A broken/missing TX transmitter WILL likely kill it, not an issue with the RX.

The wire on my 92624 is ripped off and it still goes to 200 feet fine. I haven't driven past 200 feet so I can't tell you past that. The 92624 is the 4 channel taller receiver that comes with the mxefg. The 92524 is the 3 channel low profile that costs less.

it will be fine
