Default 13.5 brushless motor ?

Ok guys i'm new to the brushless world so here i go. I bought a brushless system and stuck it on a r2 tranny with a 20 tooth pinion but my old r2 had brittle gears causing the gears to explode and make the motor not turn wedging it stuck. I replace the gears and all but now the motor just goes sometimes and most of the time it doesn't, i do full throttle and it works momentarily but in low or 5 percent throttle it just makes a small noise and quits. Did i fry the motor??

Uuplug the sensor and see if it acts the same. If it does its either the sensor cable bad or the sensor ring in the motor is fried.

Sounds like you Melted the stator when the tranny bound up.
Pull the screws out of the endbell (shaft end) and see if the wire coating inside there is melted. You have to look closely sometimes, you may even need a small flashlight so you can see inside.

I think i melted the ring sensor at the back end as i was told, I ended buying another motor because the motor i have has a irreplaceable sensor bell. I tried to pull the bell but no luck it feels like it is part of the entire motor housing. Thank's guys for the responses and help it is greatly apreciated.
