Default anyone who knows RX/TX problems please hlp

I have an almost new dx3e I was using for my ol ladies rig and it seems to be having issues with the throttle pot, it twitches real bad when i hit forward then keeps twitching untill I hit brake/rev just a hair then it stops.

I bound a dx3r to the setup and worked fine. then i tore into the dx3e and while turned on, whenh i touch or wiggle the pot or wires going to it, it freaks out. so thats how i diognost the issue, not 100% but pretty sure..

my question....

how do i, and what parts to, fix this?

i have a crap old fm radio, could i use the pot from that? or can I use just any ol radio throttle or steering pot to replace it with??

if not what the hell do i do, I know now i cracked it open, forget warranty but i dont really care anyway, if i can fix it I will, if not it going in the garbage

thanks a lot my fellow rcc peeps

If it's under warranty, get a RMA from Horizon Hobbies (Spektrum Distributor) in Illinois. You can still send it in to them even if it's not under warranty. They have some decent repair rates.

i had something similar happen on my dx3r. it would just start to act like the throttle channel was glitching like crazy, and on the monitor screen fluctuate all over the place. a flick of the throttle would stop it, and i could get it to glitch real easy by just barely giving it some throttle.

i took it apart and cleaned the throttle pot, then squirted a little teeny bit of corrosion x in there to displace any moisture and its been acting like it should since.
