Default hobby wing motor/ esc

Anybody used the 35t hobby wing motor/ esc, found it on hobbypartz, used a hobby wing 9t and esc in my traxxas rustler and never had a single issue, just curious if anybody knows if the crawler motor is any good, I ran my rustler full throttle at the dunes for 30+ minutes at a time with no issues

If you mean this combo HobbyWing EZRUN Brushless System Combo B3 w/ 35A-SL ESC and 32T@1200KV 3650M Brushless Motor for 1/12 and 1/10 Cars (Version 2.0)
I think it is now discontinued as it is no longer on the manufacturer's website.
It is a sensorless combo anyway, so it was never the best choice for low speed control needed for crawling.
However, it would do the job if you're just bashing in your backyard.

If you're on a budget, consider this combo instead HobbyWing JS6 Sensored Brushless Combo w/ Justock 45A ESC + XERUN-21.5T 1600kv Sensored Motor for 1/10 & 1/8 RC Rock Crawler Competition (ROAR Approved)
or maybe look for a used setup.

I've seen the HW sensorless crawler system in action and it wasn't terrible. Your much better off with the sensored set up though. I have been very happy with my xerun stuff in my Scte and Summit..

If your wanting something sensored but good quality and service then look into the Brushless Hobbies 80&120a esc's. They are very similar to the xerun units and can be programmed with the Hobbywing stuff but are very reasonably priced- around 50$!. Then you can pair it with almost any sensored motor of your choice.

Right now i could pick up that xerun setup for $99, im not sure though i might wait because i just got my rig, might as well burn out this axial 27t before i spend money on a new setup, ill just wait until it breaks and then upgrade

What rig do you have anyway?
Axial SCX10 based, I'd guess if you have the 27t Axial?
If so, you might want more wheel speed than that 21.5T has that I listed earlier (with 1600kv, it is roughly equivalent to a 35T brushed) in order to keep up with what you might be used to with that 27T; I was just going by your looking at the 32T EZrun when I made the suggestion.
The 17.5T or 13.5T combo might be a better match at the same price.

However, if you want less speed and have an even lower price consider this option Speed Passion | Cirtix Rhino Brushless Rock Crawler Combo
