Default exceed mad torque esc/motor capability

Still learning/experimenting Noobie question.... I have dropped from dual Brushed 70 turn motors to dual Brushed 55 turn motors with no problems. Can I run dual Brushed 35t motors on a stock exceed madtorque esc without meltdown? Any body tried this or have some info for me?? I cant find any info on the esc to research for myself.

What does running in or around water have to do with anything? I just ordered two for my stock mad torque also. I try to stay away from submerging any electrical part of my truck. So again will the stock esc handle the two 35T motors?
