mmp bec?

So I just bought a mmp for my scaler and got everything wired up, running a cs170 servo spektrum rx/tx, and its set up as brushed mode on 3s. When I power it up the whole system glitches.. I took my fxr with ccbec still wired up, put a 3s to it and plugged the bec into the reciever with the mmp still hooked up and the glitching went away.. so the question is are the bec's in the mmp's shitty or what? should I hook up my ccbec and call it done or put in the racers edge glitchbuster and hope the internal bec will hold?

I'd use the CC BEC..

I don't think the MMP's BEC is "shitty". It just isn't powerful enough to quench the thirst of a high power servo.
Use a separate BEC for the servo and you'll be fine.

Little does everyone know the BEC circuit in the MMP is made by Novak. That is the only reason I can think of for its performance. But.....................








I know it has never been covered on this website before, and this is the first time the question has ever been asked. No you should be fine. Just keep on keeping on. BEC's are over rated.
