the cans with more magnets make stronger motors right?

Not always

Simple facts...

2 magnet=More torque and more efficient....better drag brake, but less RPM and overall power.
4 magnet=more overall power and RPM, but less efficient and less torque and drag brake. Will tyipcally have a smoother feel.

Stronger to weaker magnets have similar effects as the above (stronger= 2mag).

The thing to remember is that the arm is creating a magnetic field and balance between the two effects how the motor peforms.
