O, did not realize they were that new, I'm thinking about doing a low budget super build and this radio seems to be the ticket for a super!

people are having problems with this radio dropping its settings. hobbypartz said it was due to the radio having "infant firmware" whatever that means. as of now there isn't an update to the firmware.

over on rc groups (airplane section) there are a few threads on this transmitter.

So, maybe I should go with the older version? Maybe Losikid can chime in on that radio!

CT6B is a fine radio to use...but why not use a gt3b/c hacked? Why do you want sticks?

I have been seriously been thinking on buying one to replace my DX-6, it all depends on what it does and how it feels
For $50, you can't beat it really!

I just looked through the user manual, looks like the same options as the ct6b...and probably a poor UI knowing flysky.

If your after a low budget stick radio, get a ct6b and use this software to program it

Digital Radio - The Powerful Tool for USB Transmitter 6 Channel 2.4GHz

If you want a mid range radio, then i'd say a flysky 9x flashed with er9x...here's the programmer and some info is on this page i think, or just google ER9X
9x Solderless Programmer Board with LED Backlight Support - $35.00 : SmartieParts, Smart Parts for Smart Cars

Also, the ER9x folks have come up with a new board for the 9x, and if you want a truly Bad ass stick radio, look into the sky9x ver 3.0 board. Its like 100 buck's, and you need a 9x donor radio.

I have a fataba 4pl, whitch would probably work, but from everything I have seen and read, when it comes to a super, a twin stick is the best. I realize it will take a lot of practice since I use a trigger, but that will be part of the fun! Now I am a dummy when it comes too programming and electronics, so you guys went over my head when discussing what twin stick to use. I'm looking at a budget build, not wanting to spend $100 on a tx and rx. Can I not use the flysky twin stick 6channel older version as it is? Does it have to have a bunch of $ in upgrades to run a super?

Hey guys, I'll bring this from the dead!

I have a Flysky CT6B (with dual FXR's), but I have some troubles with it on the start up.
It's cheap so don't get me wrong, I got what I payed for, but sometimes it glitches and is anything but precise...
Also I can't program it on the field, only if I take my laptop, and that is also not very practical.

So, I was looking for something cheap but that would be an upgrade.
I have been looking at the FS-T6 and I reed they had problems when they were released (close to one year ago).
Does anybody know if the problems are solved?
As anybody used it on a crawler?
