Default Recently learned that my ESC may be wrong

My dad's MOA will be running 13t cobalts on 2s and mine will be running 18t on 3s. Right now they both running the same cheapo china made no name ESC which is rated for I think 22t, 4s, and 120amps. I never put together that a lower turn motor would be harder on the ESC, but now that I think about it, it makes sense. But here is my question, this a single motor ESC running two motors in parallel, is this even worse? I mean they are 25 dollar controllers, so if the cool, no big deal. But could they damage the motors?

Will the ESC's handle the motors you have...???, likely not, depends on the exact motor.

Will the ESC damage/kill the motors? Likely not, at least short term.

H&H cobalt pullers, one set 13t and the other set 18t. I will start shopping around for a more ideal ESC, thank you for the info.

Yes, as a quick and dirty rule, running two motors in parallel effectively about halves the numbers of turns. So two 13 turn motors would be similar to running a single 6.5ish turn motor.

I don't know that I personally would worry too much about the motors being damaged by smoking the ESC, but I suppose it's not outside the realm of possibility.
