Default 4wheeel steer help dx3s

can i use my spektum 3S for rear steer
is there a mod for it or do i need a differant radio

Here is an option for you to run 4WS... One of the nice things it does is give you centering and end point adjustment for the rear servo.
If I'm not mistaken, your transmitter's third channel is a two position one. In that case, the second link is the one for you.

Or just have a few profiles on the dx3s for the same vehicle with different rear steer settings. You can also set up end points in the dx3s without extra hardware.

I would agree the heyok controller is great when you want to run a winch with the dx3s. But why add hardware when your existing hardware will do the job?

True that, but I know a lot of guys who would run 4WS would also run a winch on the same channel. At least with his controller, he can put a toggle switch on it so you can use either winch or 4WS.
