Default Trinity timing adjustment?

I recently bought a trinity speed gem brushless motor,Iam wanting to bump up the timing say 2 or 3 degrees my manual says loosen the end bell an turn clockwise, it has timing marks there but i see no screws anywhere to loosen, except on the other end (the pinion shaft end) there is 3 screws, which means i gotta take the motor out just to adjust the timing, this being in a exo aint a easy chore to do, is this the right way or am i missing something?,,,,, confusing.
