Default help calibrating Flysky to FXR

I just got a newFX-R yesterday. Got everything soldered up this morning into my Axial XR10. I am trying to calibrate it with a Flysky GT3B. Everything is set to Neutral/100%.
When I power up, bottom 3 lights are blinking. When I hold "mode"for the 3 seconds, it does the number LED4 ok, then goes to LED6 and never gets any father. It wont pick up my throttle.
Same thing with a Spektrum DX2.
My Kyosho KT-201 would get past the LED6 but then never get past LED1. I believe the trigger is bad and caused this.
Any help with the Flysky?

It had a Losi ESC on it before. I redid all the motor wiring and copied the same routes. Possible the motor connections are backward for the FXR?

Got it! Calibrated by reversing my throttle pull. That got it set but it was reverse. Had to swap motor wires around.

This soldering station is by far the best thing I've "borrowed" from work!
