What rig? If a crawler, what is it? 1.9, 2.2, Super, Scaler?

Or, non-crawler, like a buggy or SC truck.

YEP right there. Ive always run these on all my rigs, they say HV but heard of them burning up on 7.4 or more. I run all mine from a BEC set @ 7.0v even.

be careful welding next to them though

they have an aluminum casing, rubber seals around the case and output shaft, are waterproof and have butloads of torque at 7 volts.
also they costs about 20-25 bucks shipped.

and being slow they are nice for scalers, i know i dont want a zippy servo, its just not scale!!

did i sell you yet?
RATINGS.. more like 350 @ 7 volts but still not bad.

So then this servo is a good buy? Something you'd put on a MRC? Wraith?

I run the Solar on my MRC but I do not comp it.

I run Hitec on my comp rigs.

My MRC isn't exactly for comps, as I'm pretty sure the comp scene around here is dead. But I do want it to be plenty capable, which it definitley seems to be with the Low Pro chassis and other mods I've done. Currently rocking a 625MG for steering duty, but was considering something with a bit more oomph, as my front wheels are fairly heavy. Saw a 7955TG in the classifieds for $65, but haven't gotten a response from the seller, so was just looking at other options.

What would you do? Solar D772 for $20-$25 or Hitec 7955TG for $65? Also worth noting...I'm a proponent of fix it right the first time.

well, like I said... I run the Solar in my non comp MRC and it works great.
I run Hitec 7950's ($150) in my comp trucks... and they work great.

I have the solar servo in my rig and it works great. I also have the low profile version in my Touring Car and I race with it, and it has not let me down yet.
