2 pole vs 3 pole - need some advice please

I Googled it but could not get a clear definitive answer.

What is the difference between a 2 pole and 3 pole motor or whats the difference between more or less poles, advantages and disadvantages. As well as whats the difference between a 3000kv 2pole and a 3000kv 3pole.

I'm looking at a system and came across this, so I want to know if it will work or not...Thanks

Maybe you're thinking 4 pole vs. 2 pole? 4 pole motors create more torque and are usually more power efficient than a 2 pole.

4 pole all the way, more power, more power, and again MORE POWER. Din't even look at 2 pole if you can afford a 4 pole

Even in brushed motors! I run a 5-pole 20T from HH. Amazing power and better low end than any 55T 3-pole I've seen.

Cook that was my understanding as well, the more poles the more power, the less poles the more speed.

Now the important question is how does a 2 pole and 4 pole with the same KV compare.
