Default Maddd cutting out, New remote???

Hey ya'll, So I have almost upgraded everything on my ridgecrest. Motor, Esc, and servo. Im thinking something is too powerful for the next? I got a Savox 500oz servo (that wines all the time) and just installed the Tekin fx esc bc the stock esc burned up... But when the car gets about 5 feet away i lose all function.. Do I need to upgrade my remote and reciever now?

If so what do you guys suggest?

Looks like you need to install a BEC.....the servo you are running is using too much power....the esc is shutting down.

Google Castle BEC(Battery Eliminator Circuit)

I put the CC BEC on with my stock axial ESC and the esc literally went up in smoke? When i hold the car i can have it punched on full throttle and turn the wheels with no problem its when the car gets like 5 feet away

The whining is because its a digital servo that tries to center itself....completely normal....

Ummmm...post 3 states he had an external BEC. Not sure if he still has it.

Pimp.....when you had the CC external BEC, was it direct to the servo or the RX?
If to the RX, did you pull the red wire from the ESC to RX? If not, the ESC BEC likely died since it fought the external BEC and lost.

The rule is.......only a SINGLE BEC to the RX, NEVER 2 BEC's to the RX.

Thus, if you're running a dual ESC rig, only one has the red ESC to RX wire connected, the other is removed and taped off. Same for an external BEC, if run through the RX, remove (and tape off) the ESC to RX connection.
