Default How low on lipo

Im coming to crawlers from boats where I use the same 7.4 2600mah 15c and 5000 mah 26c batteries. I have stock a axial honcho and a rubicon jeep. Yesterday was maiden crawl and we ran the battery the 2600mah to 6.2 before it stopped running. I can't find what the cut off is set to.

My question is how low is too low? Normally I have an alarm on board the boat set for 7.2.
I charge with a venom charger set for balance charging.

If it stopped at 6.2V the cut-off is probably set at 3.0V.

I run mine down to 3.0V, although many people would say it's too low.

No individual cell should go below 2.8V, and most alarms only check the combined (serial) voltage.
To be on the safe side the trigger voltage thus needs to be higher to cover for one cell dipping faster than the rest.

I usually stick with 3.3v/cell for my cutoff. I'm a little more finicky than some though. If you have an AE-2, you'll need to manually set the cutoff voltage. If it's in auto, it does 3.0/cell, but doesn't do it very well. Mine let a pack get down to 2.8 before cutting power. When set manually, it's rock solid. You just can't swap between 2s and 3s packs without reprogramming manual cutoff.

Yeah I go with 3.3v myself too, tbh once mine start tripping I've usually noticed a loss in performance anyway (not in the crawlers, though, which is why so important to have monitors in a day's crawling).

3.3v goes for my boats too, though I agree it's better to be more cautious here, for obvious reasons.
