| Got a question for you about lipos
I bought a used Arrma Vortex, and it has a built in battery tray in the bottom of rc, its needs a recommended battery sized 138mm x 47mm x 25mm is this a common size, and if you get one smaller the recommended size does it move around, and damage the battery, if that is the case, would it be better to buy a hard case lipo the the recommended size to avoid damage to battery correct.

Amoured batteries are a good idea but since crawlers are generally slow they are not really required. Lipos come in lots of different sizes which is part of their advantage. I have a couple of amoured lipos and they are 139*47*24 Sky Lipo Battery 2000mAh 20C 2 cells so you should be able to find the size you need. | |
