Default Brand new scx10 goes full throttle in reverse and occasionally reverses on its

Just got a brand new rubicon I take It to the trail and occasionally it goes in reverse full throttle on its own, also when I turn off remote it goes full throttle as well, any ideas?

Is there even a failsafe I can set so when the remote is turned off the truck don't take off on me?

Start by replacing the Transmitter Batteries because they might be running low or you are experiencing a glitch/interference between your TX/RX....

the ESC should be the last thing powered on and the first thing powered off, in other words the radio should always be on when you cycle the power on the rig..

the random reversing may be a sign that the ESC is damaged, most likely from being powered on or off with the radio off.

Reset your fail safe - here is a link how,

http://docs.axialracing.com/instruct...structions.pdf

Bottom left of link.

The truck should not move when it loses signal with the transmitter.

The "full throttle on it's own" may indicate you need new TX batteries or recalibrate the ESC to the RX.

+1.... in EVERY RC MANUAL I have read they state, "TX on 1st, rig on 2nd..... Rig off 1st, TX off 2nd."
Period.

While a failsafe can help, you should NOT have the rig powered with the TX off. Never know what can happen.
This was a bigger deal in the crystal days, but still holds true today with 2.4ghz.

PS, I doubt the sequence of turning the TX or RX on/off hurt the ESC.

Why 2 threads for the same issue?? .... Brand new scx10 goes into reverse and full throttle rev when radio off?
