| Led wiring question
So i just put 2 led kits on my honcho up on top of the rollcage. They are the stock led lights from a honcho. So right now I have the stock lights that came on the truck (bumper and tail lights) and the 4 new ones [IMG][/IMG]on top. I just unplugged the tail lights from the 2 led controllers and I was wondering if I need to use both of the new led controllers or will it be OK if I just plug the 4 new lights in one led controller and then use a y harness to connect them to the same receiver input as the stock tail and bumper lights. Thanks

The tail lights on the simple LED controller aren't meant to be changed to 4 white LEDs.. They won't be as bright as the headlight ones, try it. Since they aren't as bright, i would personally use both controllers and use a Y-harness

Wait a minute, does that mean the two outputs on the Axial simple led controller is suppose to output different voltages? I actually having problems with mine. The headlights n driving lights (4 white) are working properly, but the 2 red rears are not working. What voltage readings should I be seeing at each output?

| OK I'll try it and see. If it doesn't work I'll use both. Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't hurt anything.

I am not sure of output voltages, I don't have a volt meter here with me, but my tail light led is coming off the controller on the same side as the power cable to the battery.. I haven't tried switching mine but I read on other threads a lot of people saying they output different voltages, because the 2 red LEDs need much less voltage (apparently red needs less voltage than white) When I get a chance I will try switching mine, I am about to waterproof the controller so I will be messing with it shortly |

I just tried it, when i plugged them in opposite, the tail lights worked, but the headlights didn't work anymore. so you'll probably need both controllers to make both sets of headlights work. |

One more question. I'm basically using 3 complete led kits from a honcho. Can I splice them all together and just use one led controller or do I need to use all 3 controllers? Thanks.
