Default Novak Goat esc help

Just a few quick questions about the Novak Goat crawler system.
My AX10 has been in storage for a while due to other commitments, but now I have it out and going again. The problem I'm chasing is the brakes. Basically, if I lift off the throttle going forward down hill, the brakes lock on (and I have them set at the minimum setting).
Before the truck went into storage I just assumed it was too light for the braking power. The other day I noticed the brakes appear to be weak when you let the throttle off while reversing down a hill.
My question is; Have I accidently been running the system in the reverse direction? (Much like the factory Wraith reverse issue??) Is the drag brake set equally for forward and reverse, or is it stronger in reverse?

Which LED's (in brushless profile 2) indicate forward throttle, and which indicate reverse (blue, or blue/amber)? I can't see an answer in the instructions, and nothing useful on Google.
Any help would be great.

I send a message to Novak. Sounds like the brakes are meant to be like that.
As for the LED's:
-Solid Red means Neutral (The Blue/Amber are also on to tell you have "some" drag brake active)
-Solid Green is full throttle
-Blinking Green is full reverse.

I'm not satisfied with the drag brake. My Wraith seems fine so I might try the Goat in my E-maxx crawler and get a Wraith ESC for my AX10.

Profile 3 (Robot mode) doesn't have drag brake, not profile 2.

Seems that they changed it since i got mine. my goat 3s system only has 3 profiles, and profile 2 is for worm axles and does not have a drag brake.
