| Castle has sensored ESC but not motor...
okay so what I finally decided to do with my g6 Is go brushless. and I want to go with castle not finding everything that I want in any of the brands. I want to be able to run 4S, be waterproof and sensored. But I can't find one comp that has all the things that I want. Soooo I'm probably going to go with the Mamba max pro for my ESC. And maybe the tekin red line motor cause they are both sensored. Any thoughts??? Is there a better brushless set up??? |

The MMP is not waterproof. And nearly all sensored motor are not waterproof (from the company). You could home-made waterproof your electronics. So just pick what you want! |

You are absolutely correct it's the Mamba Monster 2 that is waterproof not the MMP.

Conformal coating is excellent for waterproofing. I've tried many things. That seems to be the best. You can find it on Amazon perhaps other places. Epoxy also works too. Something that cures. |

The Mamba Max Pro is a good ESC The Hobbywing 3656SD Motor is a very good, strong motor. Highly recommended by many. I have not used it personally, but I have many other HobbyWing products and they are top notch! This setup is good for your 4s requirements. If you waterproof the sensor board on the motor and ESC pcb board you will have the perfect combo! Also, I have used the Hobbywing Xerun 150 amp ESC sensored up to 6s. They have combo's available that would suit your needs. check out falconsekido.com The MMP has more functionality, like being able to do brushed motors if need be, but the Hobbywing ESC can handle higher amp draw motors. The MMP is only rated for about 80 amps (I could be wrong here) but not by much. |

Excellent, thank you. I will definitely look into it. I have seen hobbywing ESCs and motors on ebay and RC sites but have never read anything about them.
