most radios have a switch or setting to reverse the steering channel, if not, you can pick one of these up:
Turnigy Servo Signal Reverser

I know about the switching setting but im running 2 servos off one channel I want to reverse the rear servo and I know about the y reverse splitter but was hoping to do it internally

Switch the motor wires, or unsolder the motor from the board and spin it 180 degrees...
But unless you like to tear things apart it is easier to just get the reverser

Ya gotta have a little more than just a soldering iron to get the motor off the board.

Can be done with stranded copper wire wicking the solder off ....... Or get a de soldering tip and bulb.

I do quite a bit of soldering so due to that I have all the tools. May be easier for ya to get the reversing splitter.

This is half of what is needed... if you do only that, you will burn up the motor or controller. You also have to swap the two outer leads on the pot that is driven by the output gear.

Here is the inside of a typical servo:

The motor wires have already been unsoldered and the circuit board has been lifted up to let you see the three wires that go to the pot.
Two things you need to do:
  1. Swap the two outer wires on the pot.
  2. Solder the motor wires back to the motor also in the swapped position.

A servo reverser circuit was mentioned and if you decide to use one, it plugs into the receiver then the servo plugs into it.
This is a nice simple no soldering solution.

I'm assuming that you are doing this for Four Wheel Steering...
Both of the above solutions have a shortcoming and that is End Points Adjustment (EPA) and centering. Setting the end points or centering will affect both servos.

There is another way if you want select-able four wheel steering as I make a controller for that. It also lets you set the EPA and centering for the new servo.

If you only have a two position channel available, use this:
4 Wheel Steering Controller - controlled by a two position third channel

Trust al........ He knows what he is talking about.

Me, I can solder........ That's about it. When it comes to real electronics go to him. Lmao...... I do

yea its for 4ws and iv seen the ones u make but i like how it steers all the time iv had it hooked up just with the steering link going up but it doesnt steer the best that way so i want to get it running like normal but ill be getting a reverse splitter

and yea if these looked like a typical servo i could just un solder and re solder easily but my motor is tied into the board

It is definitely harder to remove a circuit board like you described.
This one probably is a little similar to yours.

The picture shows "Desolder here" in two places, but there is actually a third place that isn't marked. That is above and to the right of the second 8 pin IC. Some motors have a connection soldered to a lead on the motor can.

When I don't have solder braid or a desoldering pump, I try a couple of other methods. The first would be to heat up the connection and then strike the servo sharply onto a block of wood or my work bench) so that the solder hopefully falls away from the joint. Might have to do this a few times.
Then when most of the solder is gone, heat it up again and pry on the circuit board with a small screw driver. You will likely have to do one motor connection and then the other. Keep in mind that you don't want so much heat in there that other things start to melt!

Outstanding!!!! This last pic is exactly what the D772 looks like inside, it's direct solder vs wired.

A. I have a couple questions to the OP, simply because I don't understand the reason for doing what you plan to do, what is the end goal? Is it for full time 4WS without having to select anything on the radio, and no additional electronics?

B. To Heyok, do you know where replacement motors can be found for the D772 servo? I've got one I want to save, and it seems the motor is the problem. Thank you

Sorry, I don't know where to buy just motors.

yea 4ws without having to select anything and i had it so the servo was running up to make it revered but it gave me limited steering one way and allot the other way this is a crappy pic but if u compair it to the front u will kinda understand

Why not flip the servo upside down compared to the other one!

You can flip servo 1000xs and still it will turn the same direction. His issue is he swapped the horn to another position and now has limited travel by doing so.
