4PLS channel 2 problems and Holmes Esc programming

Hi y'all. I have just finished putting together berg v3 and have set up my 4PLS for dual esc. The problem I am having is that my channel 2 has no reverse, in or out of dual esc mode. Any suggestions regarding how to fix this.

Also, i am using two smashed Holmes mini BRs Esc, I have purchased a Castle Link for programming, not quite sure what to do here either, but the question is if I have cut the red wire on the 'control feed' can I still program the esc?

I m very new to all this so any help would be appreciated.

The red wire must be hooked up to connect it to castle link.

Thanks have set esc's to default but I can't get channel 2 to reverse. Could it be the radio. When I push the trigger forward then LCD display indicator for that channel shows nothing, unlike when I pull on it.

I had the same problem on my 4PK, see if switching brake-mode to inactive helps.

I ended up getting reverse, changed the Throttle ALT setting for BRK to 100. I really don't understand why it works now, but it works.
