Default Battery for lights help

I've got a set of 4 white and 2 orange LEDs for my SCX II, but the JST-XH connectors don't fit in my receiver. So I thought I could get a separate battery for the lights. Which batteries are good enough and have that same connector? Any advice? Thanks

Check to see if it has an extended tab if you will on one side....if it does just shave it off and then it should fit. Just don't take off to much.

Looks like the plugs for the axial simple light Controller. Might be able to find one on ebay....or someone may have one they don't need might try the wanted section of this forum.

Well to start with you have two color lights that require different voltages to operate. You will need to pick a battery that will illuminate the white without burning out the orange. Or you can tie in a resistor to the orange and run off the same battery. You can run whites on 4.5v(with a shorten life span, but red/yellow/orange will burn out.

You are not going to find plug and play outside a kit, which is going to come with its own lights. 10 or so dollars on ebay, with brake, reverse, turn signals(I never use), and 4 white lights. They also accept the plugs on the led's you posted.

Good luck

You could however, run the orange in a series then put resistors on the white to run of a 4.5-5v internal BEC.

All that is assuming that you are using the most common 5mm LED's.

You need one of the axial light controllers to run those. The orange ones are 3mm led's. What are you trying to do with your lights? They have different ratings on the different strands that you need to be aware of.
