Default Brushed motor that will survive 4s?

I started crawling with 3s a few years ago, then switched to 4s life(13.2 vs 11.1) and found out how much the HK life batteries suck(I ran a123 cells for years without issue) and now I've picked up some 4s lipos for crawling...

I'm running axial AE2 escs with external BECs/etc.

I've gone through 2 integy lathe/crawler motors and 1 novak 55t. Other parts have broken too, but I'm addicted to the raw torque that 4s provides

Is there a brushed motor that won't have the comm melt out of it when using 4s batteries or should I stock up on the rc4wd $10 motors and deal with it?

Holmes should be fine. I run a 35 turn brood axle buster and a brood apocalypse 35 turn on 4s exclusively and they survive.

4s will just need more TLC as you use it....also easier to blow stuff up if you don't know when to let off the throttle...the cheaper machine wound stuff typically gives up easier because of the smaller wire, crappy epoxy application, and weak comm joints....
