Default DX4C 4Ch radio switch for LED lights won't work

Hi guys,

I just installed my 2 LED bar for Gmade R1: R1 LED Lightbar (2 Lights) [GM51408S] : JunFac.com
I have DX4C 4Ch Radio: DX4C DSMR 4CH Tx w/SR410 - Hobby Hobby
I was wondering how I can switch on/off the lights using the switch on the radio.
I already tried going to the radio "switch" menu to change one of the buttons to AUX 1 2P and yet, no response.
Please help.

Thanks,

You need a light controller, HeyOK are what I would suggest looking into.

Not sure you can make it work the way you have it but I know that heyok makes a couple switches that do what you want.

HeyOK Remote Switch for LED Lighting

HeyOK External Power Remote Switch for LED Lighting

You must have a switch between the rx and lights to turn them on and off, Heyok makes great ones. You can also use an old servo board. A Pico switch is another option, DSPro sells those.

The light is just power and ground, there is no signal wire going to them, your rx is always powered when the battery is plugged in. That is why they are on always, when you add a switch in the mix it turns the power on and off by adding a signal wire so tx can talk to the rx. This will turn your lights on and off via the tx. Set up that channel to a 2P and you will be gogd to go.
