Default MG959v2 servo max voltage?

Anybody have experience running an MG959v2 above 6v? HobbyKing lists the max voltage at 6v, but Tower Pro lists 7.2v as the max. Right now I'm running my 959v2 directly off a wp1040 esc which puts out 6v @ 2A. I'm not getting any brownouts and the servo is working ok, but I'd like to run a 7.2v BEC to beef it up a bit more if I can do it without burning up the servo. Anybody running one above 6v?
