Any reason to run telemetry in a crawler? other than battery voltage is heat an issue with most crawling?

I never found my telemetry setup (motor temp, RPMs, battery voltage, receiver voltage) all that useful, crawler or otherwise. The one exception was the motor temp sensor on my 1/8 scale, which was setup to make my radio vibrate if my motor hit 180*. That function saved my motor from getting cooked once but crawlers aren't usually running their motors on the edge of the temp range on a regular basis. I found myself looking at the telemetry information less and less as I used the radio more. |
