Hobbywing wp red top 1080 Help

I bought another used axial deadbolt off eBay about a week ago and I needed a radio and I cheated out and got a axial ax-3 for now and this rig came with what i think is from research online and youtube is the quicken wp 1080

I can't for the life of me get this think to initialize the throttle settings is there or anyone have a legible set of instructions?

are the two even comparable or should i just buy an axial esc?

The WP 1080 is easily the best budget ESC for crawlers, or really any brushed setup. Hobbywing has their instruction manual on the product page, though you'll only find it if you look for the "WP crawler brushed". I also recommend you find or buy a program card for it, they're usually around $10, they are totally worth it.

In which you're pretty much good to go, set the ESC to all stock settings and go from there?

Sometimes reversing the throttle channel on your transmitter helps. Maybe you'll have to reverse motor wires too. Or flip the diffs if it's easier for you.

ultimately, i can't read the directions online on my mac book pro. its to grainy to figure out the initialize and the only other thing on youtube is this foreign guy,

I guess what I'm really after is just a picture of the initial setup. from the instructions the bottom left if you look at it on H.W website Ive ran H.W products before and the program card is easy to use etc, ill dial that in as i go. I just need to figure out how to get this thing moving around instead of beeping and moving a 1/4 inch and having a light seizure on the LED

figure it out can't do squat on dead NIMH and its way to fast like no good break things fast, it has really big pitched teeth and a 27turn motor i need to slow it down and not sure why the large pitch gears,
