Futaba 7pk or Sanwa m17

Hey!

I need pros and cons for both of these radios. I am getting back into RC racing and crawling. These are the two radios I am looking at. Convince me otherwise!

To help you, ask yourself this question:

How many surface (which can include cars, trucks, tanks, boats, etc) vehicles, maximum, do I expect I might have?

I know this sounds like a strange question, but it's not as strange as you might think. The 7PX is quite costly, but Futaba receivers can be half the price of Sanwa/Airtronics receivers. Sanwa/Airtronics transmitters are fairly inexpensive, but, as mentioned above, their receivers can cost up to twice the price of Futaba receivers.

When I was attempting to make the same determination, u asked myself the same question I asked you to all yourself. When I realized that there was a strong probability of have more than 6 RCs, I knew the 7PX was the more cost-efficient way to go...and I haven't been disappointed in the least. I now have approx a dozen vehicles, and have saved myself almost enough (over getting the Sanwa/Airtronics, that I could almost precise a second 7PX (not that I need to).

Great points! My last radio before I left racing was a 4pxr and I loved it. Most others around me were m12r users. I figured I would ask. Last Sanwa radio I owned was an m11 and didn’t own it long.
