Default hw880 CONNECTION

How do you connect a HW880 to a single motor ?? Snip the wire? Let the pairs of wire dangle freely? Or is there a more elegant way to do?

It wasn't a HW880 but I took a dual motor ESC and put heat shrink on the 2 motor leads I wasn't going to use and then used a couple of zip ties to bundle all 4 motor leads together.

If you cut the extra motor leads off you can't use that ESC for a 2 motor setup if you want to at some time in the future.

You can split the 2 remaining leads... if you want a dual motor setup without individual control for some reason.

I snipped them as close to the board as I could, then covered the board (I had also removed the top 1/2 of the case and the heatsink) with liquid electrical tape.
