|  Will my setup work? HH CM 11t Magnum, BR mini, and 4S.
Good afternoon RCC! I recently picked up a BR mini and Crawlmaster Magnum 11t. I know the mini can handle 4S but can the Magnum? Also I'll be running a very conservative 9T pinion and 56T spur gear. Will heat be an issue with 4S? Thanks! Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk |

Yep, I did a 4S build a while back and emailed Holmes to ask basically this since they don't always list a voltage range. This was their answer: 'As long as you watch gearing any of our motors can handle 4s' I actually had them make a 20T Crawlmaster magnum for me to slow it down, I also geared down which was probably all I needed to do. Maybe Just check temps on the first runs to be safe. |

Well maybe gear down more if you can. It looks like the 20T motor is now something they stock.

I run a 10t 550 crawlmaster only on 4s. Geared 100:1 92t pinion, 9t spur maybe it gets warm. But nothing hotter then dinner. This is in a big 12lb hotrod too. Found a Crawlmaster Magnum Stubby 16T stashed away on an internet hobby shop shelf. Gonna end up selling the 11T.
