Default panhard bar flex fix?

does anyone know of a upgrade to the stock shock towers to stop the flex at the panhard bar? after servo upgrade mine seems to flex a lot even at the start of the turn. love the truck and may do a vanquish vs10 frame swap as a last resort if I cant figure out the flexing.

Do you have the optional "hard" parts?

There's also a 3D-printed steel combo shock mount / Panhard bar available through Shapeways - I put the link to all the Shapeways Element Enduro upgrades in the upgrades and mods thread here.

I wouldn't be surprised, though, to see another manufacturer release an aluminum version relatively soon.

The bombproof, overkill solution to any panhard mount problems:

1/4" square steel stock brazed to the chassis.

Yeah I did most of the hard parts upgrades including shock towers. Im waiting on the servo mount to be delivered to see if it will help. May be able to get the bolts a little tighter on the tower that way.

I seen the shapeways I guess its an option. I will have to buy a metric tap set as I dont have an M3 tap if I go that way. After doing a vanquish chassis on my scx10.2 I may just get one for the element. Harley did a video showing it works and for $110 I am WAY impressed on my scx.

I hear you. I am also considering the Vanquish chassis. Too bad I wasted $100+ on the "hard" parts...LOL

I'm surprised that there isn't a ready-to-bolt-on (no tapping of threads) part already released by somebody - there's bound to be one coming to market any day...

I decided against using my Vanquish chassis for the Enduro - I want to minimize adding weight to this rig.

I'm trying to keep my vehicles as different as possible - my Ascender is pretty dang heavy, and my TRX-4 is, well, a TRX-4...

Club 5 R/C just added a super-simple rear shock support for a dirt-cheap price (for those of us who don't have lengths of threaded tubes laying around):

Shock Mount Support For ELEMENT Enduro Sendero - Club 5 Racing

And they have a reasonably-priced aluminum servo mount that I've mentioned before - but where is the Panhard mount solution?

Is it that hard to come up with?

Yeah, I know - why don't I design and make one myself...well, no tools or 3D printer, and I live in a tiny apartment - that and no skills equals me whining about it...

That Club5 Racing option is a nice cheap idea. Personally not having the flex problem after upgrading to hard plastic.
