Default Shorter shocks?

So far the only issue I've had with my enduro is the ride height. I'd like to get it at least 10 to 15mm lower. I like the stock shocks, they look scale, are very smooth and have good springs available. I'm pretty sure these are the same diameter as the shocks from the re-production RC10 worlds car (have one I play with a lot). I'd love to find some stock fronts from a worlds car but talk about hard to find.

I've got a bomber with the slash F/R proline shocks that are also awesome but it looks like the small scaler version in grey has been discontinued. I don't really care for the bright blue of the replacement versions either.

Are there any other small scale quality options out there?

You can do the pen spring mod to these shocks or add a little nitro tube on the shock shaft inside the body to achieve the ride height.

I'd rather shorten the bodies and shafts to still get full up travel at the right time. I like the shock on a crawler to bottom before anything on the chassis or axles makes contact.

I have full up travel. You out the pen spring in between the piston and the base of the shock body on the shock shaft. The shock works the same as it would if you were to shorten the shaft.

I understand what you are saying and was doing that 10 years ago. What I'm looking for is shorter total length shocks. Not just travel restriction of the stock shocks.

I'm aware of the travel limitations of the stock suspension but I'm looking to lower the ride height of the whole truck. That entails raising suspension mounting points ie, track bar, steering "box" and all the other associated attachment points.

Looking to do something just short of c-notching the stock frame.

Bpc scx10 shock towers work. You'll need to make a panhard mount since they do not come with. Also gmade xd85 shocks are shorters all together and more scale looking. They work great and if you get the piggyback they're adjustable on the fly. Doing that I dropped a full inch of skid height and the truck hugs the rocks. I opted for pen mod because I like how smooth the stock shocks are. But yeah that's how I got mine to sit low

I picked up some Shock Keys by IE RC

Not installed yet but I am planning to do same. My 4runner Enduro runs on 100mm shocks, bumper clearance is beutiful but I bet if i lower ride height 5mm and increase up travel by 5mm, ill have the sweet spot.

do you have a picture of the panhard side? bpc sells an enduro panhard mount now too.

This is an older shot of what I used, I've taken the rig apart since then and am building a class 1 out of it. Just made it out of some aluminum angle stock

Incision will be releasing 80mm shocks soon. They just started putting them on the new VS4-10 ultra.
