Default BrokeBob’s Element

Another Element thread won’t hurt right? This started life as an RTR and has had a few changes along the way. First thing I change were wheels and tires, to my trusty Proline Swampers and Vanquish wheels.
I also learned very quickly that the stock bumpers were terrible, so those were removed.
After these being out for a while and the local crawl spot having a gang of them attending I knew I had to switch mine up from the rest. I decided on the Proline Ram body.
A new body calls for new bumpers, so I fabbed up some simple bumpers from some 1/8 plate, 3/16 rod and also 1/8 rod.

Those have to be the simplest and best looking bumpers I’ve seen.
Well done!

Thank you! I try to keep them simple, yet functional.

While I was deciding on a color for the Ram body I switched up a few things. I pulled out the stock Element transmission and swapped in a Dlux Fab Hamberger trans. I also made some shock tabs on the rear to try to lower it a bit. And did the battery tray mod.
