Default Panhard Bar turned 90*?

Is anyone out there 3D printing or brazing up a mount for the panhard bar that would turn the frame mount 90*? I want to raise mine a bit and prefer the rod end to be turned to pivot around the ball and not perpendicular to it.

If I can't find anything shortly I'll try to braise something up with sheet metal but thought I'd see if the 3D printer guys had made anything yet.

I haven’t seen one but now that you mention I hope we see one, I can understand the preference for the pivot motion.

Maybe SSD can come through with this one on their panhard mount.

I stayed with stock style for the panhard mount as it works fine. Also the panhard has a bent rod end which could ruin the geometry if rotated 90 degrees. You would need to change to a straight rod end on the frame mount end.

Your panhard rod ends have bends in them. Mine do

I see. Mine lost the threads in the stock rod ends and I went to traxxas ends.

I really like it. I especially like the upper pic but not sure if I could get the mount to the frame on there with just my map gass setup.

Ok so you moved it over to account for the bend or because you had to make new fixing point?

Moving the panhard mount over was a combination of leaving space for the stock shock tower to attach and keeping the panhard as close as possible to the stock position. The bend in the Element rod ends is pretty mild so they operate well within their range of motion when turned 90* for this purpose.

I ended up making this. Not turned 90* but raised enough to use straight links

I have now put quite a bit of miles on this setup and really like it. No breaks and plenty of articulation with my shorter shock setup.

Just joined the crowd and saw your post. If you have not yet made your mod, this part might serve your purpose. It worked for me:
